It snowed hard yesterday. Snow had already been falling when I got up at 10 am in the morning. I planned to head to the library that day.

I predicted that the bus would be late for a while due to the terrible weather. However, astonishingly, the bus didn’t show up at all until half an hour later. I knew I had to go out for the class in the evening anyway, so I kept waiting. The snow covered everything fiercely, and the temperature dropped rapidly.

An hour passed after I reached the bus station. I was starving in the cold. I consequently headed to the store across the street and bought sausages. I was confident that the bus would not come in half an hour since Google Map told me so. Nevertheless, when I walked out of the store I found that the people waiting at the bus station disappeared, and a figure of a bus was vanishing in the snow. I realized at the time of the bus arrival, I was buying sausages.

It was tragedy; I had nothing to complain though because it was I who decided to leave the station, and the bus had just arrived at that particular time. I laughed for a while because it was so ironic that I was chewing sausages, shivering and staring at the direction the bus had vanished.

Fortunately, I found that the course in the evening had been cancelled. Therefore, I went back home with exhausted body and lied on my bed for almost the rest of my day.

One theory which appeals to me is Murphy’s law. It says everything can go wrong will go wrong, which applies in this incident. I thought I might miss the bus when I left for the store, so I did. If I kept waiting, I won’t even think I would miss the bus, and therefore it wouldn’t happen. It is the one of the most interesting philosophy laws I knew, and it was quite intriguing to ponder on it.

Wednesday

It's again a short week. Coincidentally, some of my friends are sharing the pictures of their ''romantic moments'' online. Such a mean movement, hurts so many young teenagers' feelings.

Chinese New Year is coming soon. If I were in China, I would be probably preparing for it, and getting a whole new set of outfit instead of wearing the red jacket which I have been wearing for the whole winter.

Wednesday

The new semester has begun since this Monday. There will be much more homework to do this term. Luckily, because of the reform of the education curriculum, students who choose Social 10 and Social 11 will learn the same content. Luckily I caught it and became the one of the only group of people who can learn the same course twice, which means I have a great chance to get higher mark. English 11 is going to be a great challenge for me. However, there are lots of EAL students in my class, so I think I can stand out.
