The Lower Mainland East Youth Parliament (LMEYP) is the second longest running Regional Youth Parliament held by the British Columbia Youth Parliament, a non-profit, non-denominational, non-partisan organization that aims to teach young people how to interact with and apply the legislative process. Members from Burnaby, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, and all other areas east of Vancouver up until Hope hold session annually to debate legislation, plan projects, and connect with passionate youth from across the region.
